Dr Kirsty Hunter – Research Updates
Dr Kirsty Hunter is a member of the Sport Science Academic Team at Nottingham Trent University, UK. Along with research psychologists and training, and UK practitioners Tony Burgess and Julie French to expand the scientific evidence base about the efficacy and mechanisms of action of the Havening Techniques®. In her presentation, Kirsty will discuss some of the team’s preliminary findings.
Kimm Sun - Midwifery and Havening…changing the paradigm for the care of women and the neonate
Kimm Sun is a New York City Certified Nurse Midwife who has integrated HT into the existing framework of midwifery care. She will discuss the profound effects this model of care has had on women in their pregnancy period, in childbirth and in their postpartum phase, and why she believes this integration has the potential to transform how we care for women in all phases of life.
