Our searchable practitioner directory is currently offline while the website is being rebuilt. Until it returns, the best way to find a Havening practitioner in your area is a normal web search — most certified practitioners have their own websites.
Searching in your area
- Search for “Havening practitioner” together with your city, region or country — for example “Havening practitioner Manchester” or “Havening Techniken München”.
- Many practitioners work online as well as in person, so it is also worth searching without a location — Havening sessions over video call are common.
- Practitioners are often also therapists, coaches or health professionals; their Havening certification is usually mentioned on their website alongside their other qualifications.
Why certification matters — and how to verify it
“Havening Techniques” and “Havening Touch” are registered trademarks. Only practitioners who have completed the full certification process — accredited training, a science review, an ethics policy, supervised case studies and video sessions — and who keep their certification current may advertise themselves as Certified Havening Techniques Practitioners.
That certification is your only protection as a client. It tells you the person has actually been trained, evaluated and bound by the ethics and scope-of-practice rules of the method. Before you book a session:
- Look for the exact wording “Certified Havening Techniques Practitioner” on the practitioner's website. Vague phrases like “works with Havening” or “Havening-informed” are not a certification.
- Ask who trained them. Every certified practitioner can name the certified trainer they trained and certified with. You can check that trainer's name against our trainer list.
- Ask whether their certification is current. Certification is renewed annually; a practitioner in good standing will have no trouble confirming this.
- When in doubt, ask us. Email info@havening.org with the practitioner's name and we will confirm whether they hold a current certification.
Choosing the right practitioner for you
Havening is used within psychotherapy, in coaching, and in allied health care. If you have experienced severe trauma or suffer from a psychological disorder, choose a licensed mental health professional who is also certified in the Havening Techniques. For stress management, peak performance or personal goals, a certified Havening coach may be the right fit. Please see our disclaimer for important information.
