I am Louise, a trained hypnotherapist registered with the NCH (The National Council for Hypnotherapy). I use hypnosis combined with Havening, Tapping (TFT), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), and mindfulness techniques within my practice based in Kent (UK). I can use Havening in isolation depending on what you as a client require or combined. I work very much with the individual to make a treatment plan just for you ensuring that I am client-focused.
My passion is to help clients to make positive changes to their life. This could be a habit or a self-sabotaging behavior, or it could be simply to aid relaxation and help with techniques to manage anxiety and/or stress. I wholeheartedly believe that humans are amazing and we all deserve to reach our true potential. Before becoming a hypnotherapist and therapist, I worked within the pharmaceutical/pharmacy industry and experienced first-hand the disconnection between many patients’ minds, bodies, and brains. The patients who had a positive mindset from the start could overcome many hurdles and process trauma that accompanies many illnesses or accidents. Many would have their own techniques such as self-hypnosis, yoga, meditation, exercising, mindfulness walking, tapping, and havening. In my experience, drugs, treatment, and surgery combined with mindfulness showed a greater success rate for patients. Practice is key to ensuring the brain is wired to cope with our ever-changing environment and I try to offer my clients a framework and tools to complete this. Who knows what life is going to throw our way! We have a choice to choose how our brain is wired and what connections to keep! I often believe that our body follows our brain and responds to the chemicals that are being released, this can happen unconsciously! We all have so many programs we run without thinking, now we can change the wiring around an event or feeling. How amazing are humans - this surprises me every day.
My passion is to give the client a toolbox to be able to cope with everyday emotions, trauma, fears, and cope with the uncontrollable events that can be chucked into our pathway.
I have two inspirational daughters who are 6 & 9 years of age. I have used many different techniques, many of which I use in practice to help them to regulate emotions and form a life toolbox. As a parent, I have experienced the pain of watching an ill child, a child who is so upset about attending nursery or school, a child who fears the dark, a child who has frustration from learning difficulties, and a child who has fallen off a bike, just to name a few. I believe that children are our most valuable gift, and giving them a mindfulness toolkit has become a real passion and is when I come alive. As a parent, I want to help my children have the tools to help them process, regulate and understand their feelings to be able to live a happy, healthy, and full life. This means being able to cope with trauma however big or small it seems. For example, a first boyfriend break-up, a death in the family, exam pressure, dealing with the school bully, and conquering themselves as their own worst critic. Wiring the brain from an early age so both mind and body work together as a team.
I have a passion to give both adults and children a toolbox to help with anxiety, stress, traumatic events however little or small. I can help clients to overcome fear, phobia and to truly feel they are working towards their own goals and choosing how their brain is wired and how their body follows!
