Lysa is a Social Worker and psychotherapist in private practice in the downtown east end of Toronto, Ontario. Specializing in complex trauma, grief and dissociative disorders with youth and adults, she uses a variety of integrative therapeutic modalities, including Havening Techniques, EMDR, ego-state/parts work, somatic/body-based approaches, mindfulness and compassion-based approaches and expressive arts therapy. Lysa works from a relational, feminist, intersectional, anti-racist and anti-oppressive perspective.
Lysa believes all people have innate strengths, gifts and creativity, and can benefit from an empathic, curious, and safe therapeutic relationship through which to explore the material of their life. She is passionate about supporting people of all ages to deepen their relationship to the wisdom within, and to grow and give voice to their experiences.
