Welcome.

Have you ever wondered, “Will I ever heal?” or “How will I ever be whole again?” “Can I ever break out of this cycle of pain?” or maybe, “How can I make it through this moment?

If so, please know that there is so much hope.

My name is Laura.

From the time I was a teenager, I began searching for answers to the questions, “How do we heal? How do we thrive?” These questions, along with my own journey through pain, trauma, grief, and life transitions led me to become a trauma-focused therapist. My background in the Middle East and Asia led me to focus on internationals, expats, immigrants, refugees and third culture kids.

I love using Havening in my work with clients for several reasons. First, I’ve witnessed its effectiveness in my own life and in the lives on my clients. Secondly, it’s fairly simple. It’s so non-threatening. I’ve seen Havening replace the sting and the pain of the past, the stress of the present, and the fear of the future with tranquility and even laughter.

My commitment to my clients is to create an atmosphere that is completely safe; safe enough to peek underneath the surface and take a look at what is causing the pain and what is holding them back, and safe enough to begin to heal and change.

It’s time to thrive.

I currently offer sessions online to clients worldwide, as my license permits. I speak English very clearly and have worked with many clients whose first language was not English. I also speak Azerbaijani, Turkish and Dari. For more information, please see lifeuprooted.com.
