I have a passion for working with children and families working through difficult circumstances including foster care, grief and loss, gender and sexual identity issues, past abuse, depression, and anxiety. I also have many years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injuries and am able to adapt my approach to suit the needs of each individual.
My background in Music Therapy and the creative arts allows me to use a variety of ways to help people identify, express, and cope with their feelings and I am excited to add Havening techniques to the set of tools that I can share with others. I have found Havening helpful for clients of all ages and they report that it quickly helps them manage everyday anxieties, sleep better, feel more confident and centered, or gain new insight into their challenges.
