Michelle Holmes is a liberation coach, change catalyst, grandmother and former editor-in-chief and head of partnerships of a Pulitzer Prize winning media organization.

Michelle launched Heart’s Ease Love and Freedom Center in 2021 as a “feel tank” in a world of think tanks, where she works with others engaged in inquiry around practices of human liberation, including the Free Women Free World collective, a home for gatherings dedicated to healing patriarchal wounds of separation, colonialism and racism through the medicine of connection and belonging.
Michelle uses the powerful Havening Techniques to help people open safely to their full emotional landscape, connecting to clarity, love, freedom and a greater sense of aliveness and spiritual connection.
She is certified by Duke Integrative Medicine as an integrative health coach; is a Master Practitioner of Compassionate Ericksonian Hypnotherapy, and has been trained as an Executive Coach, Clarity Breathworker, Reiki Master.
Her sessions offer clients a gentle place to open to the inner gifts of self-compassion, self-love and self-acceptance. She loves helping people of all genders and ages move past self-criticism, self-doubt and fear, while expanding into their true purpose and potential.
Michelle specializes in serving the confidential needs of healers, teachers and practitioners doing their own personal healing work.
Based near the Indiana Dunes, an hour’s drive from Chicago, Michelle sees clients around the world via Zoom through Heart's Ease Hypnosis and Breathwork as well as in-person in Valparaiso, Indiana.
