Finding the right person to talk to can change everything — someone genuinely curious about you, who wants to understand what makes you tick and meets you with steady compassion rather than judgment. That kind of relationship is where healing starts, and it's the heart of how I work.

I'm an attachment- and trauma-informed therapist working from a psychodynamic, existential, and emotionally-focused orientation. I help adults and couples throughout Kentucky and Ohio move through anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, and the deeper questions of meaning and identity that often sit underneath them. Alongside talk therapy, I'm a Certified Havening Practitioner and use EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Relational Life Therapy (RLT) for couples — approaches that reach places ordinary conversation sometimes can't.

I came to this work after 15 years in Christian ministry and a decade in the U.S. Air Force. Through my own wrestling with trauma and distress, I discovered that I didn't need my circumstances, surroundings, or the people around me to change in order to feel whole. Finding that was like coming home to myself — and it's what I hope to help you find, too.

I hold five earned degrees: an MA in clinical mental health counseling from Northwestern University, a PhD in divinity from the University of Aberdeen, a ThM and MDiv from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and a BS in civil engineering from Michigan Technological University. I also hold certificates in spiritual direction and personality disorders, and I'm trained in trauma, Relational Life Therapy, and existential analysis. I serve clients in both Kentucky and Ohio and am a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC).

For clients who want it, I offer faith-integrated care that honors your beliefs without ever imposing them. My hope is to create a safe haven where you can vent, share, discover, and work through even the darkest valleys of your story — and come out the other side more fully yourself.
