When I was 20 I was told I would be in a wheelchair by the time I was 40.  Now 65, I am still standing!

I was a highly active, sporty child but when 12 years old, I had an accident that changed the course of my life. By age 20 I had experienced two knee injuries that resulted in four major surgeries. The big challenge in my life has been to come to terms with losing so much in terms of sport and the restrictions imposed on my life as I could no longer run, hop, skip, dance, kneel, squat and negotiating stairs is an ever-increasing problem. In 2019 a big dog slammed into my leg and did massive damage - I came close to losing it - and the physical and emotional recovery from that has been an amazing journey.

I have learned and used many modalities since my marriage ended in 2014 and I could finally do what I had always wanted - which was to facilitate others to release the pain around their traumas and move on with their life. I have 10 years experience now (2024) of this work and have seen countless clients. Since learning the Havening Technique I have been blown away by how effective it is, and I am very excited to have added it to my toolbox.
