My life experience of deep trauma led me to healing work. I have studied and searched my whole life for ways to feel better. Havening has been a godsend for me, and I would love the opportunity to work with you.
I have a history of complex trauma, including eating disorders and dissociating. I have come a long way in my healing journey. Havening has taken me to the next step and has been such a blessing in my life.
I was introduced to Havening by a friend and she led me to my beloved teacher and mentor Lynn Demers. Havening has given me the key to regulate my own nervous system in ways I never thought possible. Under Lynn's tutelage I have learned how to truly listen. I am so grateful for Havening and the opportunity to serve others so they can be released from trauma and pain. Moving through my own pain, I have the ability to meet people where they are and hold a loving and compassionate space for whatever comes up.
I received my Medical Qigong Therapy degree in 2006 and have been teaching Qigong classes and working with private clients ever since. I have since studied many different healing modalities such as CranioSacral Therapy, Chi Nei Tsang, acupressure, nutrition, herbs and meditation to assist others on their healing journey. I have also been teaching Medical Qigong at a drug rehab center helping others with their recovery from addiction for over 10 years.
I live in a rural Northern California town with my husband and my forever puppy, Xochitl. I love to sing, dance, hike in the woods, play my Rav Vast melodic drum, knit, cook and play with my fur baby. I have two beautiful daughters and two sweet, precious granddaughters.
