Nicole works with individuals (13+), romantic partners (monogamous or polyamorous), and family systems. Areas of interest include gender identity, sex therapy, religious trauma, addiction and recovery, anger, and anxiety. Nicole worked in New Age book publishing for five years and has a special interest in working with other creatives and mystics.

 

Humor and compassion are integral to Nicole’s work. Her therapeutic approach is a mixture of Emotionally Focused Therapy, attachment theory, the Gottman Method, Internal Family Systems, and somatic work that unifies the mind/body connection. Additionally, Nicole offers Havening Techniques, which is a psychosomatic trauma modality. Havening Techniques is a great option for clients who want to dive into traumatic memories and experiences without totally depleting themselves and/or retraumatizing themselves. Nicole and her clients have found Havening Techniques to be a calming, gentle experience that is accessible and adaptable for all kinds of clients and circumstances.
