Connie Haxby

Connie was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky and moved to Nashville, Tennessee in April 2019.  Connie earned a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Spalding Univesity in 2005, and went on to complete her Masters in Social Work in 2007.  After a number of years working with adolescents and adults in a group setting at a local psychiatric hospital, Haxby Counseling opened on a part-time basis in February 2012, and full time in November 2014.  Opening a private practice where she has had the ability to guide others towards healing has been one of her proudest accomplishments. 

In her free time, Connie is an avid runner and hiker and a lover of all things outdoors. Her current goal is to complete a half-marathon in all 50 states, and to complete the Appalachian Trail in its entirety - one section at a time.  A music buff, she appropriately named her dog after Fleetwood Mac frontman, Lindsey Buckingham, and her cat Freddie Mercury.
