Kia ora. I currently work in a private practice – KoruQi – meaning new beginnings and life energy that flows through all things.
My philosophy is based in collaboration, inclusion, an open mind, trauma aware practice, neuroplasticity, Polyvagal Theory and Person Centred Counselling.
Much of my work is stress, burnout and trauma resolution, tailoring to individuals a variety of mind-body approaches of self regulation that can retrain our nervous system to be calm, relaxed and safely socially engaged.
I also enjoy facilitating mind-body Calm Practice classes.
Some of these approaches are slow breathing, visualisation, mindful awareness, Havening® Techniques, Trauma Tapping Technique TTT, Tension Release Exercise – TRE and other life style ways to rebalance an over-aroused nervous system.
