I'm Sharon and I would firstly like to thank you for taking the time to read my short bio.

I began my journey as a therapist in 2003 in the field of Person Centred counselling.
Since then I have gone on to gain qualifications in CBT, EMDR, Rewind Technique, NLP, Hypnotherapy, Autogenic Training, Mindfulness, and Life Coaching, to name but a few.
All of which can, and do offer my clients the help and support they need.

In 2018 I stumbled accross the Havening Techniques® via an evening with Paul McKenna.
I believed at that time it would become another tool in what I considered an already overflowing arsenal of techniques at my disposal. I was wrong. I was truly blown away by its power to heal and it's capacity to do so in such a short space of time, Havening Techniques became THE tool in my arsenal.

I am always on the search for things that can create a better world for the people I serve and so far I have not found anything to compare with the speed and elegance of Havening.

I found even my clients who are firmly entrenched in the scientific mindset were able to jump on board once I explained  the science behind the methodology. Havening Technique was a win win no matter who it was used on or what it was used for.
I had never used a technique like it.

My fascination with the technique started with watching Paul McKenna perform Havening live on stage  no hypnosis, no suggestion just the Havening Technique.

2019 saw me travel to New York and embark on the full training with DRs Ron and Steven Ruden.

The training was every bit as amazing as I expected, and I put all I learned to use as soon as I was home and reunited with my clients.

My client base, now mostly word of mouth due to the massive success of Havening Techniques and is mostly online using FaceTime and WhatsApp due to the pandemic.

Havening Technique has and is, proving to be invaluable to me as a foster carer also as I care mainly for troubled teenagers. Some will not engage in school or when they do they are selective. Most have very low self esteem and little or no confidence in their abilities.
With the Havening Techniques I use I am able to eradicate their old way of thinking so they re engage with their true selves not the people they have been programmed to believe they are.
Havening Techniques is also invaluable when used in my Parent and Child fostering as it can instill in young parents they are good enough.
Pre having this technique these accomplishments could have taken up to 12-15 weeks of sessions.
Havening Techniques has greatly reduced this by transforming the lives of my clients in such a short space of time.

Clients who find it difficult to talk about what is causing their trauma do not need to disclose anything, they just need to rate it and let me know during and after the session when and how that rating is changing for them. It is the most unobtrusive therapy I have ever utilised.

Age is also not a limiting factor with Havening Techniques. I have used it successfully on children from age 8 to adults age 87. It has had the same impact. It is astounding!

As a therapist being trained in something as truly liberating for my clients as this is the most amazing feeling, and to also be able to use this within my home with my foster children and my parent and child placements is a privilege.

To think if I hadn't gone to an evening with Paul McKenna I would never have heard of it and would not be in a position to help people the way I do now.

Thank you again for reading this and Stay Safe!
