Saralyn Tabachnick, M.Ed., LPC is originally from Pittsburgh, PA, and has lived in Juneau since 1987. She works at Juneau’s domestic violence/sexual assault program (AWARE), and has a private practice of counseling and healing, and havening. Though she was introduced to Havening Techniques less than a year ago, she has found them to be very helpful in working with folks on multiple issues, from healing past trauma to current anxieties, from relationship issues to autonomy. Saralyn believes the most important relationship we have is with ourselves, and her work is grounded in safety and unconditional acceptance.

In addition to being a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Alaska, Saralyn is a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and in 2000, she earned her Certificate of Completion of Studies of the Practice of Healing (Courses I-XIV) from Chashymie, the Dutch Center for Spiritual Healing & Human Development.
