Charles has worked extensively with sports injuries, stress related pain, accident victims, and both chronic and acute pain anywhere in the body. He has been training in the field of Specialized Kinesiology for over 35 years. His unique blend of therapies over the years has earned him monikers such as “The Pain Detective” and “The Wizard,” for his ability to hunt down the base causes of peoples’ distress, both physical and psychological. He has worked as a Chiropractic Assistant, Massage Therapist and Kinesiologist at doctors’ offices around the country. He became an EMT and Wilderness First Responder as part of his training in his post as the Athletic Training Room Director as well as Wellness Department Director at Warren Wilson College, just outside of Asheville, NC. This enabled him to treat injuries great and small, and as a good listener, he was also able to treat the hearts and souls of the students. He spent 16 years at the college doing just that.

“In the Autumn of 2020 I was taking an online seminar on anxiety from the Acupuncture group I have done some training with. One participant asked the group if any of us had heard of Havening. None of us had, so he gave a brief demonstration, mentioning in particular how the Havening Techniques work extremely well with clearing out old traumas and phobias. I was amazed that I had never heard of this, given the countless therapeutic modalities I had worked in throughout the decades. I began looking into Havening online and was impressed with the science that backs these techniques.

I signed up for training immediately. I can now say that Havening has changed everything for myself and my clients. It is the most effective tool I have ever known for dealing with deep seated traumas, phobias, and even goal setting. Not only that, but the techniques leave room for creativity to such an extent that clients, after going through a session of addressing all manner of hurt and disappointment, will actually describe the session as ‘Fun.’ I continue to be amazed at how efficient and potent these techniques are.” Charlie Wright, March 2020
